What's New On DermEngine

In addition to providing notes with your diagnosis, you now also have the option of creating a separate set of Notes that are only visible to you and anyone you have shared this patient with. This is excellent for scenarios where you would like another physician to contact your patient, or keep internal notes for yourself about that particular case.

With DermEngine 3.0, you have more control over what your patients can see than ever before. By visiting your settings, you now have the power to select whether your patients can view items such as Clinical and Pathology diagnoses, clinical diagnosis notes, referrals, pathology requests, procedures, or all notes. What you share with your patients can be managed under your settings by clicking

You also have the ability to tag a physician in your notes by using the “@” symbol followed by their listed name. The physician will receive a notification in their DermEngine account. When tagging a colleague that doesn’t have permissions on the file already, you will be prompted to select whether you wish to share the single spot or the entire patient file.
