With an active user base and keen doctors already using DermEngine, we were excited to be in New Zealand. The GPCME conference is intended for primary care physicians with a focus on continuing education and training. This multi-day event invites experts from different fields to share insights, ensuring professionals benefit from the diverse perspectives to drive new ideas and advancements in their fields. We were excited to hear from the diverse list of speakers and guests this year.
DermEngine is the leading skin cancer analytics software provider for GP’s, skin cancer specialists, and non-specialist providers. We provide tools to healthcare professionals so they can work faster, more accurately, and confidently. Recognized as a top solution in New Zealand, we were excited to show more of what DermEngine can offer in terms of an intelligent practice support system.
Our work is simple. DermEngine’s features and tools are designed to help healthcare professionals do their jobs, so they can focus on the patient, not the process.
An Interest for Artificial Intelligence
One particular area that garnered a lot of interest was Maryam’s talk entitled, “Artificial Intelligence for Skin Cancer Diagnostics - The Future is Here”.
In the fully booked session, we demonstrated the DermEngine AI algorithms on our web-based, cloud platform, where dermoscopic images can be synced to the cloud from a digital dermoscope, such as MoleScope, for more in-depth analysis and access to our clinical decision support tools. Additional support provided by DermEngine are in features such as eTriage, Visual Search, MoleMapping, and MoleMatching. It was exciting to share our implementation of AI with those at the GPCME.
