Exciting News: DermEngine is a Finalist in the Telehealth Innovators Challenge!
The ATA is hosting their 3rd annual Telehealth Innovators Challenge (TIC) which places a spotlight on leading innovators in the telehealth space. We are most pleased to share that DermEngine was named one of 12 finalists in the TIC and one of three in its category. DermEngine is being recognized for its AI-driven In-Patient Care Solutions and successful telehealth applications in remote and isolated areas where healthcare is not as readily available.
Virtual care, or the ability to provide healthcare remotely without being in-person, is the next step to eliminating the gaps that exist in accessing care. As the sole organization focused on transforming healthcare through virtual means, this challenge highlights those companies taking steps towards a more equal and accessible future. We are honoured to be considered in the category and challenge overall!
Our DermEngine Solution for Cost-Effective Care Coordination
DermEngine as a telehealth solution means having multiple centers of excellence connected to the single largest database of skin cancer images to be analyzed with award-winning AI.
AI as an intelligent clinical assistant can support providers and health centers with high volume cases, for example, with DermEngine's eTriage. Providers can be more efficient with AI triaging in the background, removing the need to individually review each case. High risk cases can be identified and alerted for more responsive care, while less urgent cases and their patients can get peace of mind sooner with faster analysis and reporting on DermEngine. Combined with a professional's expertise, the daily workflow is enhanced to review more cases in less time or reduce unnecessary steps by insightful automation.
All of this can be done remotely, only requiring a MoleScope or other dermatoscope device, a smartphone, and desktop to make the perfect remote solution, often known as teledermatology. Moreover, a specialist is not required as DermEngine connects users to specialty providers so only imaging on-site is required. This scalable solution is a cost effective approach to administering skin checks to areas that need it or large health centers that experience high intake volumes. DermEngine provides additional benefits for your practice no matter the size:
